You must meet the minimum quantity per item, as listed in the item detail. If you place an order for a quantity that is lower than the minimum quantity for that item, we will email you with an error notice, and cancel your order.
SHIPPING TIME AND METHODS
ship UPS and on occasion we will ship Fed Ex. Shipping time in transit is
usually 1-5 business days in addition to processing time. (Most of our items
are shipped from the Northeast USA) We will email
you with the tracking information, as soon as we receive notification that the
order has been shipped.
Light weight paper items such as Personalized Prayer Cards are sometimes sent via the US Mail via Priority Mail as we find this method to be cost effective to our customers. On occasion, at the discretion of the distributor and at no additional charge to you, some of D'Lusso's fragile items may be may be selected for private trucking. If your order has been selected for this method, the distributor may contact you directly to set up the delivery schedule as the driver will require someone be available to sign for the order. Orders selected for this method are normally within NY tri-state area (NYC, Westchester, Brooklyn, Queens & the Bronx).
Although we do our best to calculating shipping charges at the time of check
out, on occasion some of our extremely heavy or extra large carton sizes may
incur additional shipping charges. If this happens, we will contact you prior
to shipping your order. See why this happens:
Shipping Calculation: For the purpose of calculating shipping in the shopping cart, the system will automatically fit 55 lbs total weight of favors into one carton. Example: If you order 150pcs of an item that weighs 1.5 lbs, the shopping cart will calculate the UPS rate for 5 cartons (4 cartons at 55 lbs and 1 carton at 5 lbs, for a total of 225 lbs). Keep in mind that some larger items such as the ceramic platters/bowls weighing the same 1.5 lbs each, can only fit 10 pcs into a carton regardless of weight, thus the shopping cart will still calculate at 5 total shipping cartons, while in reality it is 15 cartons. If this happens, we will notify you of the correct shipping charges prior to shipping your order.
We do not ship outside of the continental USA. We
only ship within the Continental
United States (lower 48),
provided that the ship to address is serviced by UPS. We do not ship to P.O.
Boxes. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto
Rico, Guam or the US Virgin Islands.
Orders Containing Chocolate
November – April
All orders are shipped UPS ground service unless we receive specific instructions to upgrade shipping. If an order contains chocolate and is being shipped to a location where the weather may reach 70 degrees F or above, we recommend purchasing insulated packaging with ice packs for an additional fee of $7.50. If UPS ground service is more than 2 days to these locations, we also suggest that your order be shipped using UPS 2nd Day Air. We will not be held responsible for any melted chocolate unless 2 Day shipping with insulated packaging is used.
May – October
To ensure your order arrives in good condition, all orders containing chocolate will be shipped in insulated packaging with ice packs for an additional fee of $7.50. In addition, any package that will not arrive in 2 days via UPS Ground will automatically be upgraded to UPS 2nd Day Air.
Since chocolate held in shipping depots over the weekend can melt, chocolate orders will only ship Monday through Wednesday from May - October. During these months, we suggest delivery be made to a business address where UPS deliveries occur early in the day. If delivery must be made to a home address, it is best someone is home to receive the package and move it out of the direct sunlight.
Non Personalized orders may take up to 5 business days lead time. (Most are shipped within 2 business days) If an item is out of stock, we will contact you and inform you of the return to stock date, prior to placing your order. Please make sure you enter a valid email address and phone number when placing your order. We can not be held responsible for undeliverable emails, unanswered phone calls or full mail/voicemail boxes.
Personalized orders may take up to 12 business days prior to shipping your order for lead time. (Most are shipped within 10 business days)
Note: Choosing an expedited shipping method does not change the lead time necessary to process your order.
If you need to return merchandise, we will take back the merchandise up to 5 days from the date you received your order (or if using a 'virtual USA address', then the date the order was received at the address we shipped it to). You must call us for Instructions and return authorization prior to shipping the merchandise back to us. We will not issue refunds for any returns without a prior return authorization. The merchandise must be unused and in its original condition and packaging, so that we can put it back into stock. We will refund for the value of the merchandise only, less up to a 20% distributor restocking fee. Note: The amount of the restocking fee may vary by distributor. Freight charges are not refundable. In addition, you are responsible for the shipping charges to return the favors, and the shipping method must be trackable. Please note that we return full order quantities only. We do not accept returns for individual pieces due to over ordering. ** Special Note: If order is returned to sender due to incorrect shipping address, this refund policy will apply.
Also, DO NOT send returns back to the address on the carton you receive them in. When you call us for 'Instructions' and return authorization, we will give you the address where to return the merchandise to, as all returns go back to the various distributors warehouse. We will not refund any money for returns sent to the wrong address, nor can we forward the merchandise from the incorrect address to either the correct address or back to you.
Custom orders, perishable food items, wrapped items or personalized items are not refundable, as these items may not be resold.
Important Note: If your favors were sent to you in an outer
carton. Please use the outer carton when
sending back returns. The outer carton
is used to protect the inner carton and it's contents. Many of the inner cartons are not meant to be
used as the shipping carton. Should you
not use the outer carton and your returned merchandise gets damaged in transit,
you will not receive credit or refund for the damaged merchandise.
** Important** All returns must be sent back within the 5 business days from either the date you receive you order or the date you receive your return authorization number. No return authorization will be issued after 5 business days. Additionally, DO NOT SEND RETURNS TO THE ADDRESS ON THE SHIPPING CARTON..., when you call us to receive authorization you will receive instructions telling you where to ship the merchandise back to. We will not refund any money for returns sent to the wrong address, nor can we ship them back to you.
Upon receipt of you order you must inspect the order and report any damages within 72 hours. We will not process any claims after 72 hours from the date the order was received at the address we shipped it to. Please keep this in mind if you are using a 'Virtual' USA address, as receiving locations do not always inspect the incoming shipments. Claims for damaged items will require proof of damages in the form of pictures emailed/sent to us. NO CLAIM WILL BE PROCESSED WITHOUT FORWARDED PICTURES. Our products are made of many types of materials. Variations in ceramics, porcelains, glass that occur naturally in production of these materials are not considered damages. Only breakage or non functioning products are considered damages. No exceptions.
more than 30% of your order is damaged during transit, you must put in a claim
with the freight carrier directly. All
shipping packaging must be kept and you are responsible to call the carrier
directly to inspect the damage and file your claim.
* IMPORTANT NOTE: On occasion, our distributors will issue replacements for items that have manufacturer variations along with a prepaid return label for you to return the original items. They will only do this only if you agree to ship them back within 5 business days from the date you receive the replacements. Should you fail to return the original items back, we will consider the replacements to be a new order and charge you for the merchandise along with the shipping charges incurred.
** Although we try to pack each item carefully for shipping, some occasional damage is inevitable. We will issue credit or send you replacements, but please allow enough time to receive the replacements via UPS ground service. We cannot be responsible for any air charges necessary to get you the replacements in time for your affair. We assume no legal responsibilities for situations that may arise out of our control.

Any cancelled orders will be subject to a 4% cancellation charge due to
transaction fees we incur from the credit card company for processing your credit
card. Please pay attention to minimum order quantities, as this will
result in a 4% charge if your order is cancelled. Any order already shipped can not be
cancelled. If Customer requests a cancellation after the order has been
shipped and refuses the package, the case will fall under the Return Policy and
shipping and restocking charges will apply. ** This cancellation policy applies to non-personalized orders only. Personalized items can not be cancelled once the personalization process has started.**
INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS: Please be very careful when entering your shipping address as all carriers charge a fee for incorrect and/or undeliverable addresses. If a fee is charged due to an incorrect address, we will charge your account for the fee incurred.
We accept Mastercard, Visa & Discover. All dollars are payable in US Dollars. We are not responsible for charges incurred by your credit card company to convert the funds to US Dollars.
We will charge sales tax to any ship to address in New York State only. All other ship to addresses are exempt from NY Sales tax. Please note that in NYS, shipping charges are taxable.
In the event of a price change, the price in effect at time you place your order will prevail.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify
that the item(s) you are ordering are in stock. Many of our items are drop shipped directly from our distributors, and most distributors report their out of stock list on a 'weekly' basis. If the item you are ordering goes out of stock in the interim of the weekly stock report, then we will notify you via email as soon as we are notified by the distributor.
